Born into a rich tapestry of Persian, Sicilian, and Viking heritage and raised between the vibrant cultural landscapes of France and Los Angeles, he has always been a nexus of diverse influences. Educated in Paris— a city synonymous with artistic rigor and deep-seated philosophy—Darius first cut his teeth in the fashion industry at 19 but later pivoted to the grittier world of industrial design. This shift allowed him to expand his creative and logical rigor beyond the confines of fashion.

His true calling ignited within the realms of nanotechnology, bionic prostheses, HMI, UX/UI, and AI, engaging in high-concept tech projects that pushed the boundaries of design. After years of groundbreaking work and mass-market innovations, a series of personal health challenges in early 2018 forced Darius to step back. Surviving two small heart attacks led to a profound period of reevaluation. It took him a year to regain normalcy and several more to reimagine his approach his eponym brand.

Now operating from studios in California, France, and Japan, Darius has re-emerged with a renewed spirit and vision. His latest collection represents the rebirth of Charles Darius - Paris, crafted with an emphasis on collaboration, exceptional craftsmanship, and a renewed commitment to challenging norms.
